TDI是一种拥有高灵敏度的成像技术,拥有超过物体移动速度的长曝光时间。集高速、高灵敏度、高分辨率三大特点于一身。标准的线阵相机也可以对移动的物体进行成像,但是曝光时间会受读出速度的限制影响;另外虽然其可以控制曝光时间,但是如果物体移动速度超过了曝光时间,图像质量将会非常的差。TDI通过装置特殊的传感器以及使用特别的读出方式而解决了以上的问题。
