It is inorganic, colorless, odorless, non-flammable,and non-toxic. The custom made PAIMS for thisapplication works under extreme operating parameters. In next stepwas 100 u L of sample was injected to sniffing port of instrument. The sniffing speed was 10L/min. As we can see from thisfigure, the SF6 results in formation of peak with reduced mobility 1.91cm2.V-1s-1. The smallestconcentration that was IMS able to detect was 10 ppb. The MaSaTECHsoftware allow calculation of peak volume, peak area, averaged peak area along the monitoring time aswell like peak intensity and averaged peak intensity along the monitoring time. The SF6 peak Intensitywas used in calculation. The Generalized Logistic Fitting with R2=0.999 was chosen as an optimal forcalculation.
