今天刚challenge了一下IT。公司电脑在我进来后一个星期才到,在此之前我只能用老板的账户进系统,还不能收发邮件,老板天天催问我什么时候才能拿到电脑。好不容易电脑来了吧,账户又用不了,还得让helpdesk找后台。我们部门的助理脾气太好了,人家说什么就是什么,helpdesk说后台不知道要几天才能搞好,她就把helpdesk的话原封不动地转述给我。我想不要搞了,还是直接给IT写信吧。上助理的邮箱用我的名义写了一封邮件,直接发给helpdesk和他们的老板,同时抄送给我的老板:“I'm using XX's e-mail account to write to you since I haven't got my user ID yet. I do not have access to intranet, internet, e-mail and WebEx, so I cannot do anything although I've been on board for 1 week. Would you kindly help to solve the problem AS SOON AS POSSIBLE? It's quite URGENT since I need immediate access to the online system. Your prompt response would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance." 把邮件重要程度标记为高,还把邮件提醒设置成明天上午十点半follow up。这一下效果真是太明显了,两个小时之后IT就把电脑和账户都给我弄好了,还学着我的口气说”Now you have access to intranet, internet, e-mail and WebEx." 哈哈。可能我显得有些tough了,但是tough的效果就是很快就能把事情搞定。要像部门助理那样soft还不知得拖到什么时候。本来我是个很nice的人,事情一多什么事都赶着要做就只能tough了。
