第一句能否把“可供测试方法选择的数量”改为“可供选择的测试方法的数量”？这样更容易理解。
currently 有流行的意思，但经常更多时候是指现在、当前的意思。本文中就应该是这个意思。
另外：2）能否译为“讨论当前可用的方法的优缺点，包括设计用于减少有害重金属废物的新的哈希锰III COD方法。”
new的位置我个人认为应该是修饰哈希方法的，如果是用的“newly”，那么象楼主那样译就应该没什么问题。haypiny 发表:I. INTRODUCTION

第一句话中文中有机物应为“有机污染物”。
