The Singapore Government has introduced the captioned new regulation to enhance the safety of consumer goods. This regulation will come into force on 1 April, 2011. Consumer goods covered by this CGSR will have to meet the applicable safety standards of ISO and IEC, or EN or ASTM. Some products are being excluded from this CGSR and to be covered by other regulations
