On September 26th, AMETEK Inc., the corporate parent of Princeton Applied Research, has completed the acquisition of the Solartron Group from Roxboro PLC. The Solartron Analytical division is being joined with the Princeton Applied Research business as part of the Advanced Measurement Technology division of AMETEK. We are all very excited about the combination of these two long-standing businesses with PAR抯 focus on research potentiostats and Solartron抯 focus on impedance solutions. The combined business offers tremendous opportunities to increase our new product development projects; expand our sales, service and support efforts; and gain some efficiencies. Princeton Applied Research and Solartron Analytical staff members will be working together throughout October to determine the best ways to get the most benefits for the combined business and for our customers. In the meantime, we will continue to operate the respective businesses just as we have and we expect no major changes to our mutual focus on satisfying our customers with our full range of products and providing comprehensive post-sale support.
