By titrating with sodium hydroxide standard solution, sulfuric acid and aluminum ions contained in aluminum processing liquid for plating can be determined. In this titration, two inflection points are defined; the first point indicates the sulfuric acid content and the titrant consumption between first to second end points indicates the amount of aluminum ions according to the formulae 1 and 2 as shown below.
