Since cyclopentanone may contain substances interfering KF reaction, injecting directly into the electrolytic cell would cause increase of background level as the sample accumulates. AQUACOUNTER’s EV-2000L Oil evaporator can separate water from the sample under azeotropic distillation, effective to reduce the expensive KF reagent consumption by keeping inside of the cell clean.
