仪器简介：
Elastocon Brittleness Tester, ET 05, for automatic determination of 
Brittleness point according to ISO 812, ISO 974, 
ASTM D746 and ASTM D2137.

Specification:

Automatic cooling by liquid Nitrogen, ET 01.02 including valves, additions to the temperature controller and a 60 l self pressurising cryogenic bottle, for both ET 01 and ET 02.

Manual cooling by a Freezer:
ET 04, Ultra Low Temperature Freezer -60 to -85 °C, 130 l,
for Low temperature testing. Cooling can be done manually by
cooling the bath liquid (ethanol) in this freezer and filling the Tester for each test series.

The instrument includes software, but not the computer.

The test rig is raised by pneumatic cylinders, which require an air supply of 6 Bar.




主要特点：

The brittleness tester is designed as a falling weight tester,
where the speed is set by the height and the energy by the attached weights.
The speed is measured before and after the impact, to verify the speed before impact and the speed loss during impact.

The TR-Tester, Gehman Tester and Brittleness Tester can be combined using the same base unit and a rig changing system.
