SM1 Threaded Mounted Photodiodes SM1PD Series

The SM1PD Series of photodiodes consists of Ge, or Silicon photodiodes cathode grounded (A-Type) or anode grounded (B-Type) mounted in convenient SM1 threaded tubes. The electrical connector to the photodiode output is BNC.

The SM05PD and SM1PD series of photodiodes consists of InGaAs, Ge, Silicon, or GaP photodiodes mounted in convenient SM05 (Ø0.535-40) and SM1 (Ø1.035-40) externally threaded tubes. The electrical output of the photodiode is provided through a standard SMA connector (SM05PD Series) or BNC connector (SM1PD Series) for quick connection to the measuring circuit. 

The photodiodes come in either a Type A (cathode grounded) or Type B (anode grounded) arrangement. All models are ideal for measuring pulsed and CW sources. The insulated external thread on the main body makes these photodiodes compatible with all Thorlabs SM05 and SM1 Mounting Adapters.

The SM05PD Series of photodiodes consists of InGaAs, Ge, Silicon, or GaP photodiodes cathode grounded (A-Type) or anode grounded (B-Type) mounted in convenient SM05 threaded tubes. The electrical connector to the photodiode output is SMA.
