Introduction	Ecto-5-prime-nucleotidase (5-prime-ribonucleotide phosphohydrolase) catalyzes the conversion of purine 5-prime mononucleotides to nucleosides, the preferred substrate being AMP at a neutral pH. CD73, which consists of a dimer of 2 identical 70kDa subunits, is bound by a glycosyl phosphatidyl inositol linkage to the external face of the plasma membrane. CD73 is used as a marker of lymphocyte differentiation. Consequently, a deficiency of NT5 occurs in a variety of immunodeficiency diseases. Additional forms of 5-prime nucleotidase exist in the cytoplasm and lysosomes and can be distinguished from ecto-NT5 by their substrate affinities, requirement for divalent magnesium ion, activation by ATP, and inhibition by inorganic phosphate.

Immunogen	Anti-human CD73 mAb , is derived from hybridization of mouse FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human CD73 amino acids 27-252 purified from E. coli.
Ig Subclass	Mouse IgG2b heavy chain and κ light chain.
Purification Method	CD73 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Protein formulation	1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Storage Procedures	For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Stability / Shelf Life	12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
Applications	CD73 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000.
