简介：高真空技术中使用的扩散泵油，要求耐热氧化性，冷却温度下蒸汽压低，且其蒸汽压随温度变化大，沸腾温度不能过高。早期曾使用水银，目前主要使用矿油类、脂类、聚苯醚及硅油等。其中以硅油的性能最好，它具有热氧化性高、粘温系数小、沸点范围窄、蒸汽压曲线陡（温度变化一点，蒸汽压变化很大），常温蒸汽压低，凝固点低加之化学惰性，无毒、无味、无腐蚀。
