L-胱硫醚性 状：白色结晶或结晶性粉末，有酸味，无旋光性，约于280℃熔化并分解,难溶于水，
不溶于乙醇和乙醚，属非必需氨基酸。
用 途：医药中间体
L-胱硫醚物理化学性质：密度1.6632，熔点300℃，白色单斜棱形结晶。存在于动物体内或甘蔗、甜菜等嫩体中，能溶于酸、碱盐溶液中，微溶于水，不溶于醇。有酸味。无旋光性。约于280℃熔化并分解。难溶于水，不溶于乙醇和乙醚。属非必需氨基酸。
主要用途：生化及医学临床研究，微生物培养基。用于氨基酸输液、合成药，可用于肝病及心脏病的治疗，也用于化妆品。用作生化试剂、有机合成中间体及金属络合剂。
