致病性

白假丝酵母菌属条件致病菌，通常存在于人体表与腔道中，当正常菌群失调或抵抗力降低时，白假丝酵母菌则可侵犯人体许多部位，如皮肤、粘膜、肺、肠、肾和脑，引起皮肤粘膜感染（常见鹅口疮、外阴炎及阴道炎）、内脏感染和中枢神经系统感染等，粘膜感染以鹅口疮最多。
