Materials with known 2H, 13C, 15N and 18O isotopic composition
Unit Size: 0.5 g
NBS 28 was obtained by I. Friedman, U.S. Geological Survey from Corning Glass Company. It was washed with acid to remove impurities and the fraction between 100 μm and 177 μm was separated and packaged. The material serves as primary calibrator for silicon δ32Si measurements and its 32Si/30Si ratio defines the zero point of the δ32Si scale [1,2].
