The SV2-FC features a 2 GHz bandwidth and a Si detector with a wavelength range of 320 to 1100 nm. The SIR5-FC features a 5 GHz bandwidth and an InGaAs detector with a wavelength range of 900 to 1650 nm. These high-speed photodetectors are undergo specialized testing, thereby ensuring compliance with our specifications. A complete test report comes with every serialized detector package.

Thorlabs offers five models of compact, fiber-coupled, high-speed photodetectors, including the new 2 GHz DET01CFC model, which replaces the older D400FC. A visible light version (400 to 1100 nm), the DET02AFC, is also available, with a fast 1.2 GHz bandwidth. This series of GHz bandwidth photodetectors provides the same ease-of-use and compact size as the rest of our extremely popular DET series.
All five models are designed to perform in a wide range of test and measurement applications involving fast optical signals, which includes high-speed data communications, analog microwave, and general high-speed photonic research and development.
