CMI563 PCB Surface Cu Gauge

The CMI563 is a handheld micro resistance gauge for the PCB industry, rapidly measuring the thickness of copper foil, laminated copper, as well as surface copper including traces and pads. It can be used at incoming inspection and after etching or planarizing to verify plating thickness. Using advanced technology, copper plating on the opposite side of the PCB will not interfere with precise, reliable readings. The CMI563 features a user-replaceable tip to reduce costs and minimize downtime. The illuminated, clear tip casing allows for easy placement on narrow traces.

Thickness range (electroless Cu): 0.25-12.7μm
Thickness range (electroplated Cu): 3-152μm
