[ RELEVANCE ]

Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is one of the most abundant proteins in serumandthemajor components of the immune system. IgG is important for our defenceagainstmicroorganisms and the molecules, which are produced by B lymphocytesasapa rt of o u r a d a pt i v e imm u n e r e s p o n s e. B y bi n d i n g ma n y k i n d sofpathogen—representing viruses, bacteria, and fungi—IgG protects thebodyfrominfection. The variability of the IgG pool is generated by somatic recombinationandthe number of specificities in an individual at a given time point is estimatedtobe1011 variants.

[ USAGE ]

Reconstitute in sterile PBS, pH7.2-pH7.4.

[ STORAGE AND STABILITY ]

Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Store at 2-8ºC for one month.

Aliquot and store at -80ºC for 12 months.

Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of thetargetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradationtest,that is, incubate the protein at 37ºC for 48h, and no obvious degradationandprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard,which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this proteinislessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
