Background:

This protein belongs to a G protein coupled heptahelical receptor subfamily named Endothelial Cell Differentiation Genes (EDG)that act as receptors for biologically active lysophospholipids.内皮细胞的分化蛋白6抗体 This group consists of two receptor subgroups specific for S1P and LPA respectively. EDG6 is the receptor for lysophospholipid sphingosine 1 phosphate (S1P). S1P elicits diverse physiological effect on most types of cells and tissues.
