Dr Eric Yang is currently Vice President, Global Head of Bioanalysis, Immunogenicity & Biomarkers group at GSK. His group is responsible for developing and validating bioanalytical assays, in compliance with regulatory guidance, to measure drug (small molecules and Biopharm), metabolites, anti-drug antibodies and soluble and cellular biomarker (target engagement, pharmacodynamics, safety, etc.) in relevant biophases (systemic or at target) to drive pre-clinical and clinical safety and efficacy outcomes across all therapeutic areas. Dr. Yang led the DMPK and Pharmaceutical Science in GSK R&D center from 2018 to 2022. He joined SmithKline Beecham in 1997 following his postdoctoral at Cornell University. Dr. Yang had a bachelor degree in Applied Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology in China and a PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Georgia in USA.
