Xiaozhao Wang received her bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tiangong University and her Doctor’s degree in Materials Science at Zhejiang University mentored by Prof. Kui Cheng. She has been working with Prof. Hongwei Ouyang as a postdoctoral researcher at Zhejiang University-University of Edinburgh Joint Institute, Zhejiang University since 2018. Xiaozhao focuses on revealing multiscale structural assembling in musculoskeletal systems and understanding their contribution to mechanical functions and pathological development in knee joints. Xiaozhao has published nearly 30 papers in SCI journals such as Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, Nano Letters, Biomaterials, Bioactive Materials, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. According to Google Scholar, as of 2023, her works have been cited over 600 times, with an h-index of 13.
