...bringing you the next generation ofanalysers MultiScan 3000 Food Analyser proves to be a winner in dairy applications Sept 1， 2011 Next Instruments has recently delivered three new MultiScan Series 3000 Food Analysersinto the dairy industry. The Series 3000 Food Analyser has proven to be a reliable， userfriendly Near Infrared for at line analysing. In January 2011 we received a 5th order from Kraft Asia for their cream cheese applications.The Series 3000 has worked exceptionally well for Kraft Foods， Mt Gambier， South Australia.Kraft designed their own sampling system whereby a fibre optic probe cable was fitted to asink so that operators could make a measurement and then rinse the product off the probe.This makes the analysis more reliable and easier for their plant operators. In February 2011 we receive a second 2nd order from Brancourts Foods， Hexam， NSW， afterthey took over the site from Dairy Farmers earlier in 2010. The application was themeasurement of fat， moisture， pH and salt in Cottage Cheese. A Bamix hand held blenderwas used to homogenise the cottage cheese which was then packed into a petri dish. Aspecial sample holder was designed to make preparing the petri dish and loading into thesample draw made the analysis quick and easy. Another feature requested by Brancourtswas the ability to print a personalised report for the analysis so the instrument to fit easilyinto their QA systems. In March， only days after the NZ earth quake， we delivered a Series 3000 to Westland Dairyfor the analysis of butter. The Series 3000 was placed into the butter plant for at linemoisture and salt analysis to replace there manual method. After developing calibrations，the instrument proved to perform extremely well against their internal lab methods. In lessthan 60 second， the Series 3000 provided analysis for moisture， salt， lactic acid and pH.
