像我这样的外行人, 会不专业地译成weak alkaline。

Suggested minor improvement:

这样译应该也是对的，直接了当；如果是溶液从酸性变化到碱性的话，用just alkaline会更确切一些，似乎可以看到溶液酸碱性变化的一个过程。个人愚见
