I have a question--how do you prepare 100ml of 5% HNO3 as your matrix through using 65% HNO3? Pls give me your
caculation so that I have know more and tell the customer how to dilute its standard solutions.

The 5% HNO3 of 100 ml is based on the volume. So you add 5 ml of concentration HNO3 (65% HNO3) to water into the
gravemetric clean flask, then dilute to 100 mL mark line on the flask. This will make up 5% HNO3.

看来确实是这样了，有时候很简单的问题被提问出来后，会否定掉自己常规的回答

一般都是当做是40毫升市售硝酸（65%左右）用水稀释至100毫升。

有没有一个明确的标准啊！

一般理解成体积比吧？就是40mlHNO3,加纯水定容到100ml容量瓶，单凭这个是这样理解的

个人以为，提到这个的，多半是不需要十分精确的40%。否则40%（W/W）、40%（V/V）。。。。就够头疼了。所以，按照1:2.5的体积来配应该就能符合实际的使用了。

理解正确，应该是体积比。
