poorlittle老兄的大名已经久仰很久了
[/quote]
Why?
I reviewed my previous posts and have an impression that poorlittle 这小子专门在鸡旦里挑骨头, no matter how good an article has been translated by 版主/版友, he always pointed out some mistakes; 打击积极牲, 好为人师。 This may be my 职业病 as I had been a teacher for six years.
Referring “我将送你(上出租车)去宾馆”, I would prefer “ I’ll take you to your hotel by taxi” rather than “I’ll send you to your hotel by taxi”
Since 神剑兄 is going to meet 老外, would 神剑兄 please seek their opinion and tell us the correct expression.
Remark:
“take you” seems impolite, but that is the way 老外 say. Other “impolite” examples are “May I walk you out” (让我送你出去); “I’ll drop you at the hotel.” (我会在宾馆让你下车)
