ASTM D4870 Standard Test Method for Determination of Total Sediment in Residual Fuels


A precision liquid in glass thermometer. Contains a unique and non-hazardous thermometric fluid that has been formulated to meet traditional precision, response, and dimensional requirements.


Solid stem, white backed, with an easy to read blue filling with round top finish. Supplied with a certificate of conformity. Also available with a UKAS certificate of calibration.

Same dimensions as traditional Hg thermometers

Easy to clean up in the event of breakage

Visually different from Hg (blue filling)

Classified as non-hazardous for shipping
