Introduction	NFATC1 is a component of the nuclear factor of activated T cells DNA-binding transcription complex. This complex consists of at least 2 components: a preexisting cytosolic component that translocates to the nucleus upon T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation, and an inducible nuclear component. Proteins belonging to this family of transcription factors play an essential role in inducible gene transcription during immune response. NFATC1 is an inducible nuclear component. NFATC1 functions as a major molecular target for the immunosuppressive drugs such as cyclosporin A. Different isoforms of NFATC1 may regulate inducible expression of different cytokine genes.

Immunogen	Anti-human NFATC1 mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human NFATC1 amino acids 428-716 purified from E. coli.
Ig Subclass	Mouse IgG2a heavy chain and κ light chain.
Purification Method	NFATC1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Protein formulation	1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
Storage Procedures	For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Stability / Shelf Life	12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
Applications	NFATC1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1000 ~ 2000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000.
