From analysis of whole organisms down to single molecule studies, it is essential to treat your samples with extreme care and get your answers in a suitably short timeframe.  Fluorescence Microscopy benefits from two major advantages of high sensitivity imaging technology, firstly low levels of illumination can be used thereby enabling live cell imaging in non-photo toxic environment. And secondly for experiments which involve fixed cells, this sensitivity can be used to achieve very high frame rates, permitting imaging of huge montages and/or deep Z stacks. Once acquired fluorescent microscopy data sets often benefit considerably from Appropriate visualisation, our Imaris software is the market leading package for both 3D & 4D visualisation as well providing a broad suite of data analysis capability.
