美国鲁道夫密度计用于浓硫酸含量的测定 The Density 密度计-用于浓 H2SO4浓度的测量: As the concentration of the sulfuric acid increases, the density also increases. This fairly linearrelationship continues from 0% acid up to approximately 96% or 97%. However, somewherearound 94 to 95% the linear relationship starts to become a bell curve; the concentration/densityrelationship starts curving back on itself. Therefore, the densities of sulfuric acid at these highconcentrations have two different possible concentrations!! That is, for example, 99% and 93%sulfuric acid may have the same exact density! Material Compatibility with H2SO4 测量浓硫酸的材料要求 The internal wetted materials of the DDM 2911 density meter are: Borosilicate glass PTFE, andHalar. All these material have an“Excellent” rating for their resistance to attack from H2SO4. The only material concern is the silicone tubing used for the waste drain line! This external tubingis supplied to us by Tygon BioPharma Silcone; Tubing Formulation # 3350. This transparenttubing is good for mild to medium concentrations of bases, salts, alcohols, andacetone. However, it is not recommended for acids, in particular sulfuric acid even at lowerconcentrations. Sulfuric Acid will dissolve this on contact! For Sulfuric acid I would recommendViton tubing. This opaque black tubing is good for most all acids. But it is not good for acetone.Acetone will slowly eat away at this Viton tubing; use alcohol for drying. The external tubing is easily changed as required for an application. Just replace with tubing ofsuitable material of a similar size (1/8"IDx3/16"OD- or- approximately 3mm ID x 5mm OD). Cautions to be taken with H SO4 测量硫酸的注意事项 First and foremost, wear proper protective equipment, gloves, safety glasses, etc. Sulfuric Acidis very corrosive to human tissues! Also, care needs to be taken during the cleaning out of the acid; remember that sulfuric acidreacts exothermally with water! So push the sulfuric acid out with and empty syringe using airpressure- only once nearly all the sulfuric acid is out of the u-tube can you use diluted sulfuricacid as the first rinse; again, push it out with just the air pressure from an empty syringe. Thenand only then may you rinse with water as a solvent.
