辣椒素是植物由来的有机化合物，作为辣椒的辣味成分而知名。除了辣椒素之外，辣椒中还含有二氢辣椒素等辣椒素类物质。使用CAPCELL CORE C18 S2.7（2.1 mm i.d. x 100 mm），在通常流速（200 μL/min）的两倍流速下，辣椒素得到了良好的保留和分离，并且色谱峰形好（压力：装置和柱压总和为29.8 MPa）。

Shown below is a chromatogram of the two compounds obtained withCAPCELL CORE C18 S2.7 (2.1mm i.d. x 100 mm). The flow rate， 400 uL/min，corresponds to twice that of conventional methods.
