phthalic acid：苯二甲酸
oxidation：氧化
混合物样品与高锰酸盐溶液（to 苯二甲酸）的氧化反应表明后者的存在。
to phthalic acid不知道该如何翻译，也许是先与高锰酸盐反应再与苯二甲酸反应？这还是要看上下文。希望楼主把上下文都帖出来。其它的都比较确定。

side arm：带侧臂的
three－neck：三颈的
ground glass ：毛玻璃
flask：瓶
可以翻译成毛玻璃制成的带侧臂的大口径三颈瓶
