Our office based in Shanghai is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer
The job description: Our shanghai base is situated in an office & laboratory facility in MinHang district. From this base you will be majorly responsible for the sales of Krüss instruments throughout China. Reporting to the Sales manager,Your activities will include: 1. prospecting and follow up of new sales enquiries from a variety of sources. 2. analysis of clients’ application and organisation of sample evaluations. 3. demonstration of instruments at customer sites. 4. preparation of sales proposals and response to invitations to tender. 5. organisation and participation in short courses in surface science. 6. managing the use of the Krüss Surface Science Laboratory at the university. 7. participation in exhibitions and scientific meetings. 8. contribution to product improvements by reporting customer suggestions to the development team.
Your Profile: 1. minimum of an honours degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Physics or related subject. 2. Ideally, you have a minimum of 2 years experience in scientific instrument sales, technical sales or related(Graduates with no experience but strong potential also considered). 3. You are an active listener and able to assimilate and analyse your customers’ application needs efficiently. 4. You are able to work independently and with the versatility to cover a range of activities. 5. Positive, constructive and open to other points of view, you are highly selfmotivated and self-disciplined.
