• Develops a commercial strategy and annual sales plan for the China market that meets and exceed company sales goals and profitability objectives • Provides comprehensive monthly analysis and reporting of China sales performance vs. quarterly and annual budget and appropriate action plans to meet and exceed deliverables • Provides regional leadership on go to market plans for new products • Responsible for the recruitment, training, performance management, and development of the China HHXRF Sales organization (own employees and distributors) • Responsible for the continuous development of the HHXRF Sales team to ensure first class sales support for all internal team and external distributors/customers. • Coordinates and communication with all other departments of the Company both domestically and internationally • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company. • Initiates and coordinates development of key account strategy in China • Initiates and coordinates development of market development plans to penetrate new markets • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding market performance • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales team members. • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team • Expert with Microsoft Dynamics or similar sales automation software • Exceptional management skills in developing and executing sophisticated sales strategies, tactics, plans and programs • Mastery of sales metrics and optimization of HHXRF sales teams
Key Capabilities:
• BA or BS required, able to grasp complex technical matters quickly • 10 years+ of experience in Regional Sales Management roles for multinational companies; 3 years+ team management experience • Business to business sales experience • Experience in the high-tech instrumental industry (Preferred) • Experience in the PCB/Electronics, Automotive, Aerospace, Chemical/Petrochemical and Cement industries (preferred) • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals • Proven leadership ability to drive sales growth • Outstanding sales management skills • Marketing knowledge and experience (preferred) • Proven ability to recruit and motivate a world class sales team • Demonstrated ability to develop & implement a successful growth strategy • Strong executive communication and influencing skills • Completer finisher with a strong say/do ratio • Strong business and analytical skills • Experience with salesforce.com or a similar CRM tool • Strong Chinese & English language skills essential • Honest and reliable • A demonstrable track-record of consistently achieving sales targets; • Entrepreneurial with a ‘nose’ for spotting business opportunities and going for them; • High levels of energy and drive; • A structured approach to sales and time management; • Used to following basic business processes; • Able to work autonomously, but get along well with staff from other Businesses; • Must hold a passport and be able to visit the UK and Shengen Countries
