Both Series (DC210 and DC310) have similar software features. The differences between these models are the pixel size and scan speeds. Please see the specification table above for a complete comparison of the two Series' respective specifications. All four models have #8-32 and M4 tapped holes for stable and secure mounting options and are compatible with our cage systems for easy integration into optical designs. Please note that Thorlabs also offers the High-Resolution USB 2.0 CCD Cameras with a USB 2.0 interface for seamless computer to camera communication.

The DC210 and DC310 Series FireWire (IEEE1394) CCD Cameras come with everything needed to provide plug and play image acquisition. The included ThorSight software provides real-time display with the ability to save single images or AVI movies that can be analyzed later with your choice of software. The camera can be externally triggered with a 3.3 V signal, allowing for greater versatility.
