没想到大家把about译成了误差，这个词在这里其实是它最常用的意思：大约
举个例子吧：美国药典（USP）中类似于下面的句子是非常常见的，
Transfer about 100 mg of XXXX, accurately weighed, to a 100-mL volumetric flask.
“About” indicates a quantity within 10%.
根据这句话的意思，我们在称样的时候称量范围应该是90-110mg之间。所以它的意思其实与中国药典是完全一样的

If the measurement is stated to be “accurately measured” or “accurately weighed” , follow the statements in the general chapters Volumetric Apparatus <31> and Weights and Balances <41>, respectively.
若量度是指定为“精确量度”或“精确称量”, 则应分别遵从第31章《Volumetric Apparatus》及第41章Weights and Balances的条文(操作)。
(In English, capital letters may be used to denote a title. In Chinese, there is no capital letter; we may use 书名号 in translation, i.e. 《xxx》)
