职位名称:SH-MP-Product Specialist X-Ray 职位描述/要求:Responsibilities: 1.Product Specialist X-Ray resides in the Sales team, acting as an important link between Marketing and Sales, enabling improvements in sales and marketing effectiveness, and in sales and marketing alignment and communications in a B2B environment. 2.Must be proficient in the features, benefits, specifications and value propositions of Malvern Panalytical’s X-Ray technical products, as well as in their use in a variety of industries and applications for which they are used around the world. This technical knowledge is required in order to converse at the proper level with scientists, engineers and academics in a wide variety of fields and disciplines. 3.Qualify all incoming leads and distribute them according to established rules and guidelines. Some leads may be passed to the Field Sales team and some may be managed internally by the Inside Sales group and Product Specialist X-Ray. 4.Become proficient at using Malvern Panalytical’s systems for sales. Product Specialist X-Ray must be expert users of the company’s database and email programs. In addition, they must be willing to embrace new sales strategies/techniques when instructed. 5.Ensure the data collected during a qualification is accurately entered into Malvern Panalytical’s systems. This data should be entered in a detailed fashion that is compatible with established data analysis techniques. It should be assumed that both the Almelo and UK offices will use any and all collected information. 6.Ensure their work is properly recorded in the database to allow the Product Manager and Inside Sales Manager/Supervisor to record and review their monthly activities and accomplishments. 7.Perform at or above established standards/metrics for the product marketing team and Inside Sales team. To achieve positive results, established standards for number of opportunities added to the pipeline must be achieved. 8.Collaborate with other functional areas like Account Managers, Sales Specialists, Customer Support, Applications, Database Administrators, Marketing, and upper management. These interactions should be focused on moving a sales opportunity forward and/or learning of new sales opportunities to pursue. 9.Take on any special project work as directed by the Marketing Manager or China General Manager. 10.Take part in the marketing activities when needed. Explain and discuss X-Ray technology and applications with visitors and try to understand customer needs, pains and provide solutions or suggestions. Collecting leads during the marketing activities and follow up afterwards according to inside sales leads qualification process. 11.Speech or presenting our X-Ray product technologies, features, solutions and values in customer seminars. 12.Develop and complete applications and solutions for key segments assigned by marketing manager or product manager. Submit promotion articles for emailing or social media communication/promotion purpose.
Education Master degree above and Doctor degree preferred in Material Science , and other technical degrees in the material science field. In addition, general Chemistry, polymer chemistry, Physics, Mechanical and/or Chemical Engineering, will be considered.
