职位名称：Application Scientist (proteomics) 职位描述/要求：Responsibilities: • Execute marketing campaigns, including seminars, workshops, roadshows by giving technical presentations in Chinese (mostly), and sometimes in English for ESI related instrument, focus on LC-QTOF. • Independently conduct demonstration experiments, application training course for ESI related instrument at customer sites or Demo Lab. Able to answer questions for customers regarding the instrument operation, data processing and sample preparation. QTOF is preferred. • Demonstrate capabilities of ESI related instrument includes Q-TOF and/or LC/TQ, ION TRAP, through analysis of sample sets and reporting the results to prospective customers. • Prepare application notes and scientific posters both in Chinese and English. • Translate marketing material including brochures, application notes and other marketing collateral. Qualifications: • Must have a MSc Degree (PhD is better) in scientific areas in analytical chemistry, chemistry engineering or related field with a reasonable experience in laboratory work covering chromatography and mass spectrometry is preferred. Major in proteomics and/or Pharma/Biopharma would be perfect. • Experience with analytical instrumentation software products, advanced user of MS Office databases and networking is a must. • Expert on QTOF, especially large molecular analysis is preferred. Major in proteomics and/or biopharma would be perfect. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, both Chinese and English, must be able to write and present in English for both internal meetings and external conference. • Self-motivating skills. • Positive attitude and strong sense of commitment for teamwork. • Adaptive to dynamic and changing environments. • Ability to teach analytical techniques and software operation. • Willing to accept new challenges, to be assigned new responsibility.
