才用LaVision公司特色的DaVis软件平台构成的完整粒子成像测速(PIV)系统对直喷柴油发动机中多漩涡流动进行了测量和分析
The amount of soot emissions from small high-speed direct-injection diesel engines is sensitively
dependent on the strength of the in-cylinder swirl flow which is important for the formation of an
ignitable mixture. Three optical techniques - Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), a full-field
correlation method based on high-speed video recording of the swirling flames, and an optical probe
technique - have been applied to characterise the setup and the final strength of the swirling air
motion during compression stroke and the time of combustion. Two different swirl levels were
investigated. The experimental results are compared to calculations based on integral flow
measurements performed under steady-state conditions. The final swirl at the time of combustion
predicted by the simple model calculation is in good agreement with the experimental results.
