USB4000-UV-VIS光谱仪有一个板载的可编程微控制器可对光谱仪及其附件进行控制。通过22针的接口，您可以进行许多操作包括控制外部光源，建立过程，从外部对象获取数据。还提供8个可编程的数字I/O口连接到别的设备。

USB4000-UV-VIS光谱仪采用高性能的3648像素线性CCD阵列探测器，整个光学平台只有手掌那么大。光谱仪接收来自光纤的光能通过固定的狭缝和光栅投射到探测器上，可提供波长范围在200-1100 nm的光谱。
模块化设计
当您购买了USB4000-UV-VIS 光谱仪后，您可以方便的从海洋光学的生产线中寻找您所需要的光学附件。大多数的附件都采用SMA905的接口，您只要简单地旋出连接器就可以更换或添加采样附件，包括光源，样品池，滤光片，流通池，光纤探头，传感器，聚焦镜，衰减器，漫反射标准，积分球和光纤跳线。
即插即用
USB4000-UV-VIS光谱仪可通过USB2.0接口或RS-232串口连接到电脑，PLC和嵌入式系统中。当使用串口通讯时，需要5伏供电。每个光谱仪都有自己特有的参数存贮在光谱仪的内存中，通过光谱仪软件可以读出这些数据。
串口操作小贴士: 当使用串口通讯时，需要5伏供电。光谱仪软件SpectraSuite并不提供串口的通讯，不过您可以通过串口指令集来编写您自己控制代码。
