I heard this news everyday,but My company and my home is normal as usual and no power failure record.

Eastern China is suffering from a power shortage recently. The shortage this time could be more severe than the 2004 one. Manufacturers are worried the electricity shortage affects their production and impact their profits. Some lab instruments need no-stop power to run. Although the power is normal in my city now, I also worry about power supplying in this summer.

The university I work in has published a piece of notice about limiting electricity, and it contains several items including restricting the temperature of air-conditioners, closing half of the lights on the sides of road, and that all works should be done between 7:00 and 23:00. However, the college I work in seems to be out of the limitation, maybe because of particularity of military projects.

The compnay i am working for has its own electricity plant,so it is not suffering from a power shortage
