For storage of volatile materials in areas with explosive atmospheres. Red warning label on front reads: "Explosion-Proof Refrigerator." For added safety, units have top-mounted hydraulic thermostats and door stops, compressors with enclosed overloads and relays, and static condensers and evaporators free of electric fans.
Both models feature permit setpoint adjustment while running. Manual defrost and CFC-free refrigerant. For 115V 60Hz. Note: units are not equipped with line cord and plug; must be hardwired into an appropriately rated conduit box to comply with NEC code.


The two-door 11 cu. ft. (311L) model has an 8.5 cu. ft. (241L) refrigerator and 2.5 cu. ft. (71L) freezer. Temperature ranges: 2° to 10°C (refrigerator), -18° to -5°C (freezer).
