Ⅰ、Key Responsibilities 1、Support marketing and pre-sale activity - Execute and develop sales strategies and goals with sales team to achieve China Andor Life Science sales targets. - Support marketing and sales team, furnishing leads for sales, upgrades, support contracts and other market intelligence whilst in contact with the customer. - Cooperate with Andor Life Science marketing activity. Be ready and motivated to organize, attend, and make presentation in following marketing activities (including but not limited to): academic conference, seminars, user-group meetings (UGMs) and workshops about Andor Life Science products or services. - Work closely with China Andor Life Science sales team in pre-sale and tender submission period. Provide advanced technical support for pre-sale and tender submission related activities, including but not limited to the preparation, examination, and interpretation of technical documents or presentations (required for pre-sale and tender submission) of Andor Life Science products. - Deliver presentation and support of Andor Life Science products for both current and potential customers. And be prepared to interact with academic customers and answer customers’ technical questions related to our products/services. - Understand the customer’s needs on bio-imaging analysis and give technical advice to the customer on IMARIS module selection and utilization, in collaboration with sales team. - Perform pre-sale user data demonstration using IMARIS to help the sales team win the order and maximise customer’s experience, satisfaction, and loyalty to our brand. - Get familiar with Andor MSD products and be able to perform demonstration on customer’s site. - Actively catch up and investigate knowledge, features, applications, and advantages/disadvantages of competing products in the market and summarize them into comparison documents and deliver training or introduction to sales team. - Support third party resellers, dealers, and channel partners through on-site or remote assistance and training.
2、Support post-sale activity - Take charge of on-site and/or online installation, training, user-group meetings (UGMs), and workshops of Imaris, independently. - Participate in the design, preparation, and creation of Imaris courses for both online and on-site training, user-group meetings (UGMs), and workshops. - Be self-motivated to get up-to-date knowledge of Imaris and other bio-imaging software. 3、Customer support and develop. - Support current business and generate new business opportunity through providing advanced and technical application support for pre-sales and post-sales activity. - Identify and interact with key opinion leader (KOL) customers (both current and potential) to define current and future application needs for long-term business growth. Maintain good customer relationships, providing regular contact and developing self as technical “go to person” within the industry and projecting a professional and competent image of Andor and its products to customers at all times. - Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities in line with the scope and level of responsibility of the post, which might reasonably be required.
Ⅱ、Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated 1、Education / Qualifications: - Possess a master’s degree essential (PhD and additional business qualification desirable) in biology and medical related fields (such as biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, neuroscience, bioinformatics), preferably have publications (including non-published manuscript) using bioimaging related techniques. - Applicants must have experience in using, at least, one of the following bio-imaging modalities during his/her research: confocal microscopy, wide field microscopy, light-sheet microscopy, TIRF, super-resolution microscopy (SIM, STED, or other SMLM technology). - Applicants must have experience in using bio-imaging analysis software (including but not limited to Fiji, ImageJ, Imaris, Halo, Aivia, Amira, Arivis) during his/her research. - Programming skills (such as python, MATLAB, and Java) will give extra credit for the applicants but not mandatory. - Language skills: English (spoken and written). - PC knowledge, both hardware & software. - Clean driving licence - Ability to travel at short notice. - No restrictions regarding travel & length of stay.
