The values in the table were determined by Ginnings and Furukawa of the National Bureau of Standards on aluminum oxide in the form of synthetic sapphire (corundum). The sapphire pieces passed a #10 sieve but were retained by a #40 sieve, and had 99.98 to 99.99 % purity by weight. Heat capacity values below the experimental range were obtained by extrapolation of the Debye equation fitted to the experimental value at the lowest temperature. The units J/gmole are absolute joules per degree per gram mole (molecular weight - 101.9613) at a constant pressure of 1 atmosphere (100 Pa)

而这其中,材料本身的物性参数都需要使用必要的仪器进行一些实验测量。半导体领域中用到的焊料是合金材料,填充料是高分子材料,基板有树脂也有玻璃、金属、半导体等。利用DMA,DGC,DSC,TG……等等测量材料的Tg温度,材料的熔点,比热容,热导率,CTE,吸湿性能……等等都是很重要的工作。
