请问这是什么试剂？

酒精和聚乙烯醇。其实原文省略了一个alcohol，本来应该是这样的：
mixing of the sample with ethyl alcohol and polyvinyl alcohol (as binders)

我觉得也是，ethyl 和polyvinyl应该都是修饰alcohol的吧。

应该是乙醇，网上都可以查到：ETHYL ALCOHOL SOLUTION 乙醇溶液
