correlation test of ASTM F963-11 test using test method CPSC-CH-E1003-09.1

Object: To perform reproducibility for test method CPSC-CH-E1003-09.1 for ASTM F963-11 between two performers

Sample: CRM NIST 2582(coating sample)

Equipment: (1) Microwave digestion oven

(2) Inductively Coupled Argon Plasma spectrometer

Procedure: Six trials were performed by two technicians compliance GC051.TP,

acquiring results as below.

According to the equation:

F = , where S=standard deviation

when (f1=n1-1=5, f2=n2-1=5 and a=0.05), F0.05,n1-n2=F0.05,5,5 =5.05 could be found from distribution critical value table, as F

t = , where =mean value, n=n1=n2=trials

when (f=n1+n2-2=10, af=0.05), t0.05,10 =2.23 could be found from distribution critical value table.

Criteria: The F should be less than Fcritical and t should be less than tcritical

Conclusion: The correlation test between CWZ and WZD were satisfactory.
