扫描探针显微镜SPM/AFM

  • We are looking to fill a research scientist position in a NSF supported
collaborative project between Nanomaterials Laboratory SDSU, SPM division of
    Agilent and Argonne National Laboratory.
The candidate will be responsible for developing a novel photoactive
scanning probe microscopy tool. The candidate is expected to be hands-on
with high-precision instrumentation and scanning probe microscopy. He will
spend 50% time to develop advanced photovoltaic materials with nanoscale
    functionality.

    Required qualifications:
Strong experience in scanning probe microscopy (including: scanning kelvin
probe force microscopy, current-sensing AFM, scanning near-field optical
microscopy). Experience in integrating optical/laser tools with scanning
    probe methods is highly desired.

    Desired qualifications
    1. Scanning probe microscopy and ultrafast spectroscopy of polymer blends
    and photoactive materials.
    2. Organic and hybrid solar cell fabrication and characterization
    3. SPM based electrical/optoelectronic characterization of materials
    4. SNOM/NSOM spectroscopy
    5. Surface photovoltage measurements using SPM tools.

    Application Process: E-mail CV with a 1 or 2-page write-up explaining how
you can contribute to this project. Application materials will be reviewed
by the search committee on weekly basis and short listed candidates will go
    though phone/on-site interview.

Funding: NSF funding is anticipated for 2 years. Annual contract subject to
renewal upon satisfactory progress. Salary depends on qualifications and
relavent experience. This position is being announced in anticipation of
    future funding.

    The position is available immediately.
