Do you save energy （save power) in summer？（sign up 28th July)

Morning. yes,there are many instruments in my work place,but the instruments need to turn on all the time ,I want to save energy to turn off the instrument but it have negative effects on it.
So I cann't do any thing but let it consume power.

Saving energy is always a concept in my mind, and I practice it often. However, for instruments saving energy can't be implemented.

I am always close my computer if I have to leave for a long time.

I often turn off the computer screen power when leave for a long time.
