自己建立的TLC分析方法，将中文改了一下，不知道这样译行不行？

将上述测试溶液、杂质对照溶液及分离度溶液分别点于TLC薄层板上，将点好样品的薄层板在氨蒸汽中饱和约一小时，然后在展开剂中展开，取出，晾干，放入碘缸内显色。
Apply the above test solution, impurity reference solution and resolution solution respectively to a TLC plate. Allow the plate to be saturated with ammonia vapour for about 1 hour. Then develop in developing solvent. Take out the plate and allow developing solvent to be evaporated from the plate. Place the plate into iodine vapour until developing color.

直接写展开就知道是在展着剂中展开了吧？developing agent貌似不用写出

同意。“在展开剂中展开”直接写“develop”就行了。“晾干”也不用写成“allow developing solvent to be evaporated from the plate”，直接写“allow to dry”就行。

连我这个外行也看得明 (可能这反而正是不足之处)。

但有些用字是否行内惯用字就不清楚了 (例如假设, 仅是假设, 常用的字是remove而不是take out; 不过, 这只影响味儿, 不影响准确性。)

(味儿的笑话 : 一新任公务员草拟了一公函让上司过目, 上司说: “行文清晰、有条理, 一字不能多, 一字不能少。 但没官味儿, 重写。”)

看了各位的意见，将Then develop in developing solvent. Take out the plate and allow developing solvent to be evaporated from the plate改成After developing, remove the plate and allow to dry可以吗？
因为碘缸实际就是一个充满了碘蒸汽的密闭容器，不知道碘缸怎么译，所以就译成iodine vapour了。

之所以将碘缸译成碘蒸汽还有一个原因：
我查过欧洲药典，也是利用这个原理进行薄层显色的，是这样表示的：
Detection: expose to iodine vapour for 30min. 也许碘缸是国内的专用语？
本来我是想将Place the plate into iodine vapour until developing color译成Expose the plate to iodine vapour until developing color的，为了忠于原文我就直译了。

放在碘缸里，换用手拿着么？place the the plate in the iodine vapour until color developed.
